What distance can I enter?
10km*: The 10km MTB Ride offers entry-level mountain bikers, older kids and families a great introduction to Mountain Biking that is contained within the Steyn City property.
25km*: For the fairly new to seasoned weekend warrior.
55km*: For the brave and experienced MTB riders.
The 25km* route is separate to the 55km* route. You cannot start the 55km* and switch to the 25km*. Ensure that if you enter the 55km* you are adequately prepared.

10km* - R180 (incl. 15% VAT)
25km* - R285 (incl. 15% Vat and R10 CSA rider levy)

How old do I have to be to enter?
The minimum age for the 25km* is 10.
The minimum age for the 55km* is 15.
Is the MTB Ride timed?
RaceTec is the official timing company of the 25km & 55km Discovery 947 MTB Ride 2019. It is compulsory for every cyclist participating in 25km & 55km to wear a valid RaceTec timing chip linked to your personal profile. The 8km Discovery 947 MTB Ride is not a timed event.
